I love living in Texas, but this heat has me very jealous of our more northern states. Something to always keep in mind with this industry, is that there are men and women who go out and actually fish in this weather. We can't stand just the drive home in an air conditioned vehicle and these guys are out there for hours baking in the sun. Extreme temperatures can have significant effects on availability of certain products. Some fishermen just simply refuse to go out because of the heat, and I can't say I blame them. But there are those who keep going out, even in these conditions. It's good to be grateful for these hard working fishermen and it's good to keep making their labors worth the effort by keeping their product moving.
